Games for People with Lives

(About Artificial Software)

Artificial Software was founded by busy people for busy people.

The average online gamer is now 351. Some of us, through judicious use of various dark arts2, have actually managed to secure meaningful and gainful employment, and even marry and procreate.

As we have discovered, working and procreating take time. Sometimes, lots and lots of time. Like all day3 and all night4.

Then, there is the horrid inconvenience of the False Death,5 or “sleep.”

So, time for games has been negatively impacted.6

But we can help. The goal of our company is to produce compelling and challenging games that do not require the time commitment of a second job and reward intelligent and creative play, not just the quantity of time spent online.

Through creative game design, the ability to delegate, and some quirky AI, our goal is allow you to play intelligent, complex games and still have a life.

5There was a book or short story where aliens though the human practice of going to sleep odd, and christened it the “false death.” We cannot remember its name. (In any case, cool word: pseudocide, or “false death” from the Latin.
